Started in 1896, the Archdiocese of Ernakulum-Angamaly has touched the lives of millions for more than a century. With over a hundred years’ of experience in education and other realms of life, the Archdiocese embarked on the new venture- Naipunnya Group of Educational Institutions in 1997. Presently there are two colleges and two schools under the Naipunnya umbrella
The word ‘naipunnya’ in Sanskrit means expertise or mastery. We visualize a citizenry who are at their best in all realms of life.Naipunnya aims at the intellectual and spiritual refinement of the young through a constantly renewed training programme combining advanced techniques with value addition ensuring the ultimate gratification of all its stakeholders.
Naipunnya Kindergarten and Public School Kochi, a project of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam Angamaly, forms another phase of Naipunnya Group of Educational Institutions.
Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology, Pongam, Koratty East, Thrissur Dist. (affiliated to the University of Calicut), Naipunnya School of Management Studies, Cherthala (affilated to the University of Kerala), Naipunnya Public School, Paduapuram, Angamaly are the the first three instituions under the Naipunnya group.
Started in the year 2011, Naipunnya Public School Kochi has, His Beatitude the Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar George Alencherry and Archbishop Mar Antony Kariyil as Patrons.
The School is managed by Bharata Mata College Educational Trust.
